A Bit About Claire

Mandala_BrandKit_doodles(new)_0000s_0006_diamond-fill.png

Claire’s physical therapy practice is focused on education, empowerment, manual therapy and movement prescription.  Claire earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Washington in 2018 and had the privilege of interning in pelvic floor clinics and assisting with pelvic floor research during graduate school.

Claire focuses on treating pelvic issues (pelvic health, during pregnancy and postpartum, incontinence, constipation, dyspareunia, prolapse, post abdominal surgery to name a few) while recognizing that in order to address pelvic health we must also address the entire body/ mind system.

Claire’s dedication and specialization in pelvic floor health stems from recognizing a need for this critically important service and the immense gratification of witnessing individuals reclaim their passions, whether in sports, art, music, caregiving, career, or simply continuing with their daily routines with dignity.

Outside of work Claire recently moved back to Portland, her childhood home, and is enjoying getting to know Portland again after living in Seattle for the past 18 years. She also enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, swimming, hiking and running clubs.
